What a Woman Wants in Bed

Calling all women; how about a show of hands, for all of us women, that are tired of seeing every cover and every post of Glamour and Cosmopolitan, be about "How to Please your Man in Bed".

Don't get me wrong, I love both of these magazines and have been an avid reader of both. The times have changed and this is a woman's world that we live in, have the magazines kept up?

By reading the print on every post and every cover, I say no. There are just as many relationships that fail, because a woman's needs are not being fulfilled.

This day in age; we are constantly spending our time juggling, trying to figure out how to balance, having careers, raising kids and keeping our men happy.  So mush so, we end up make ourselves miserable.

We have sexual needs, just as much as men do. Society has made it all about a man's needs and for what? Because magazines have preyed on women's insecurities, just to sell an issue.

Women stray in relationships, as well as men do, if their needs are not being met. Most men can remember to change the oil in a car and give a car a tune up, but forget about their wife or girlfriend's sexual maintenance.

With that being said, here is a tip to all of the magazines out there, including the guy mag's. Change your cover's and article's, to offer more advice to men, on how to please a woman!

Here are my 5 Things a Woman Wants in Bed:

1. Be Spontaneous: Don't make us do all the work, to plan a sex night. Have sex with us in random places, at any time of the day. We like surprises.

2. Do the Deed: Don't make us ask you to take a trip down yonder, just do it. Bonus points: to make it hotter- leave our panties on!

3. Talk Dirty: Yes we like it and we don't want to have to initiate it.

4. Give us a Quickie: We are always multitasking and we don't always have time for full blown romantic sex.

5. Role Play: Yes we fantasize about hot, sexy Construction workers and Doctor's, dress up for us and give us a lap dance! There's a reason we love Magic Mike!

Bonus: Effort: Show us some effort and you will probably reap the rewards. It's when men don't put any effort into the sex or the relationship, is usually when the fire burns out.

The Little Things

Life takes us down many roads as we chase after our dreams, we often take for granted the beauty of what we are surrounded with. When we consume ourselves chasing after our dreams, we often forget to stop and smell the flowers. As a woman, I believe that every woman should be able to embrace, being a woman. We should be able to be comfortable in our own skin and we should not have to compromise our femininity. We should be able to 'own' being a woman. For many woman and young girls of Kenya, embracing being a woman, isn't always the option. In some villages, woman have to feel that having a menstrual cycle each month, is a shame. Many young girls in Kenya, are missing out on going to school, because of having a period each month.
